My know it all son didn't and duh, would not connect until after charging when it worked fine. Also need to remember to keep it charged via the cigarette lighter which is a bit of a nuisance (when it's clipped to your visor and have to remove) but otherwise it works for me. Blue light "on" doesn't bother me like other reviewers as it's out of my line of sight. Volume is fine as long as you don't drive with all the windows down on the freeway. Tip - make sure you charge it before trying to use (per instructions).
My truck has lots of head room; if you're in a low car, put some tape on the light. My wife and friends love it and actually answer my calls now. The T305 has almost no echo. I never see it unless I look up at it. I bought this hands free speaker to replace a BlueAnt unit I bought about four months ago. The BlueAnt, over $50, had a terrible echo for the person I was talking to. Easier to use than an ear piece, and the blinking blue light doesn't bother me.
The Motorola T305 is an elegant solution to the problem of how to go totally hands-free and not TOTALLY irritate my wife with complicated instructions. Bottom line: it works, it's simple, it's inexpensive.
I called all of my friends and family and asked them how it sounded on there end. I had the radio turned up while it was on, other than that it works great. The blue light is not an issue to me. There was only one time that I got some strange feedback.
This Motorola Bluetooth speaker is just what I needed for a long car trip. It is working perfectly and the price was just right.
